The family run 4* superior Hotel Alpenhof lies in the center of Zermatt in a sunny, quiet location. The cable car Sunnegga, which access the ski slopes and hiking area, is directly across from the hotel and the train station and Gornergrat railway are just 5 minutes’ walk away.
The 5 floor Hotel Alpenhof offers 62 comfortable rooms. Most of the rooms have their own balcony.

Look forward to the naturally lit, Alpenhof SPA area on the first floor with large indoor pool, indoor-outdoor whirlpool, blockhouse sauna, steam baths, tropical shower, beauty salon and tranquil relax rooms.

We pamper our hotel guests every day with a new and freshly prepared 5 course selection menu. A special highlight of the winter season is the exquisite cheese buffet.
Wine buffs will be pleased by our selection of local and international wines.

After a delicious meal you might like to end the evening with a cigar and a glass of whisky? Our refined Cigar Lounge, one of a kind in Zermatt, offers fine digestives, smoky whiskys and a solid selection of cigars.

The family-run 4-star superior Wellness Hotel Alpenhof is located in the centre of Zermatt, opposite the Sunnegga Cable Car Station and a 5-minute walk from the Gronergrat Railway.

The Wellness Hotel Alpenhof hotel has 5 floors and each room is equipped with a minibar, cable TV, free WiFi, a safety deposit box, a seating area, and a bathroom. Most rooms also have a balcony.

A diverse selection of gourmet menus and freshly prepared food is served at the restaurant. Local and international wines, as well as little snacks can be enjoyed in the new hotel lobby.

Guests can relax in the Spa area with natural light, a large indoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna, steam baths and a tropical shower. A beauty salon and relax rooms are available as well at the Wellness Alpenhof.

The refined smoking lounge, offers fine digestives, smoky whiskys and a selection of cigars. In winter, the piano bar is the perfect place to end the day sitting at the fireplace, enjoying a cocktail and listening to the pianist.

A free transfer from and to the Zermatt Train Station is available on the days of arrival and departure, respectively.
